Our Icons
		Icons are an important part of our worship life at Holy Trinity - Saint Anskar.  Our brothers and sisters in the Orthodox church view an icon as a 'sacred doorway' that establishes a real connection between the worshipper and the saint depicted (or written) on the icon. We make use of traditional icons such as those of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or  Rublev's famous Icon of the Trinity in the top left.  We also have icons of individuals who may or may not be recognized elsewhere as saints, but are part of our local church calendar, such as Martin Luther King Jr., Dorothy Day and Oscar Romero.
