Future plans
I have borrowed a copy of the Orlich family history that Gena Orlich Hartig put together back in 1980. It includes a chapter from great aunt Amelia that expands upon her talk at the 1976 reunion. With Gena's permission, my next goal is to get that history into an electronic format and get it posted here. Barbara Smilanich Bianconi has offered to help me out, for which I'm very grateful. It'll be an interesting experiment in long distance collaboration, as she lives in Denver and I'm still in Minnesota. NOT STARTED
Once that's done, I have some other material that I want to put up. I have a stack of background material on the Macomber family that I got from Nana, my maternal grandmother. I have some other odd bits covering other parts of my family lying around here and there. NOT STARTED
Finally, if I can figure out how to lay it out I want to pull together a genealogy that shows the various branches of a fairly complicated family tree. DONE This actually turned out to be easier than I thought it would be. The skeleton of the Serbian branch of the family is up, if not completely debugged. DEBUGGED

I've found out that the Austrian government still has military records that date back to the Napoleonic Wars! With any luck I should be able to get some background information on Antim Smiljanic's service in the King's Guard, as well has his land grant.
