Ballade

For many years, the four of us have played together informally and for the Dannebrog Folkdancers. Last year we finally formed a band !. We play primarily Danish folkdance music. Members are

Ruth Nielsen	plays bass (and fiddle)

In 2005, we played at

Scandinavian Ball in January
Hjemkomst Festival in Moorhead at the end of June
Strawberry Fest at Danebo in July
Sommerfest, also at Danebo, in August
Skandia Festival at the Landmark Center in December

Thus far in 2006, we have played at Scandinavian Ball in January. We are looking forward to the Festival of Nations, Danish Day, and many other events.
