They say nice things come in
small packages and Katie is a classic example. Katie is a smaller Golden at
52lbs, and possesses the renowned trustworthy friendly temperament that the
Golden Retriever is famous for. She is from
the first litter produced by Topbrass Take It To The
Max JH CGC and Counterpoints Captain MH WCX CGC. Katie is an outgoing, fun
loving, rambunctious pup with a fabulous loving
personality. Katie is a hard charging, water loving dog, that is nuts for birds.
Katie is a dog that loves to work and possesses the
desire, and drive needed to withstand the pressures of daily training, Hunting,
and Trialing. Katie has the short field style
coat and furnishings that a true working dog should have. She possesses great marking ability,
trainability, athleticism, and superior nose needed for a great hunting dog.
During her time off from training, Katie loves to play with anyone
she can find. Adults or children, cats or dogs, it doesn’t matter to her. She
loves them all just the same.

Katie’s 2003 Spring exploits included
earning six ribbons in six straight attempts, earning her AKC Junior Hunter
Title, GRCA Working Certificate and started her HRC quest. Katie’s 2004 exploits got off to a nice
start with her first AKC Senior Hunter pass before taking the remainder of the
year off. Kate took 2005 off to enjoy
motherhood.
